I like your sacrifice! Even if I can't escape, how hungry are velociraptors? Maybe a human will suffice? Or maybe, just a couple of limbs so you have a chance of surviving once the neighbours below call round to tell us about the leak(ing blood)!

They seem to have cheated and used a person-sized raptor a la Jurassic Park, so I'd say it would probably be able to take some pretty large chunks out of me before it got full.

Lets stay optimistic though!

I was a dinosaur geek for a while as a kid, and can you tell Jurrasic Park was a much-watched film in our house? ;) I prefer the books though. Huzzah for crazy and possibly slightly made-up science, and alas for the passing of Michael Crichton...

Ah! See Jurassic Park scared the shit out of me when I first saw part of it, and it wasn't till many years later I actually watched it! By then all fear had gone and it was just a lolfest... Nevermind. Always was more of a toy cars, trains, nazi/ww2 history fan as a kid. Dinos just... weren't! Odd names and no application to today!

I think the time is respectable, however there may be some less than respectable rumours about why you were both chained to the bed in the first place...
